Jennifer Renee Kerner and Dirk Andrew Allsbury were married Sept. 29, 2007, at Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church by the Rev. Byron D. Myers Sr.
She is the daughter of Linda Kerner of St. Joseph and the late Stephen Kerner. He is the son of Karen Allsbury-Burger of Kansas City, Mo., and the late Leroy Allsbury.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Adam Kerner.
Maid of Honor was Amy Kerner, and bridesmaids were Susie Linin, Brandi Kinard-Gilgour, Kristin Miner and Heather Miner.

Major James and Ruth (Hazzard) Patee of St. Joseph celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on Dec. 20.
They were married on that date in 1941 at the Worth County Courthouse in Grant City, Mo.
They worked for the Ival Shipley farm in the Isadora, Mo., area. He began a 20 year career in the Army in 1944, serving in duty stations across the United States and Hawaii and Germany. He also spent time in Korea and Japan. After retiring from the Army in 1964, they came back to St. Joseph. He went into management with Sears for 21 years, retiring in 1985.
She is a homemaker.
Their children are: James Jr. and Judy Patee of Shawnee, Kan.; Jerry and Karen Patee of Pensacola, Fla.; Debra and Richard Wilson of Wichita, Kan.; Jean and David Merrill of Maryville, Mo.; and John and Angie Patee of Camden Point, Mo. There are 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A family celebration is being planned for today. The honorees would appreciate receiving cards.

They were married on Jan. 11, 1958, at Hamilton Baptist. She retired from Cameron Country Mart. He served in the Army Reserves and is employed with the Western Missouri Corrections Center in Cameron and also raises cattle. They have lived in Hamilton for 50 years.
Their son is Gary Wayne Puckett of Hamilton. There are two grandchildren.
