Jennifer Harrison and Brad Major were married Nov. 1, 2008, at the Wyatt Park Baptist Church, St. Joseph,by Rev. Mary McDonald. She is the daughter of Ray and Marion Tittle, Maysville, Mo., and Steve and JoAnn Harrison, Kansas City, Mo. The bride is the granddaughter of maternal grandparents Donald and Louise Newton, Chillicothe, Mo., and paternal grandparent Janet Harrison, Albuquerque, N.M. He is the son of Mike and Brenda Hughes, Faucett, Mo., and Wayne and Sandra Major, St. Joseph. The groom's maternal grandparents are Cyril Hodge and Charles and Virginia Detweiler, all of St. Joseph. Alleen Major, St. Joseph, is his paternal grandmother. The bride was escorted by her father, Steve, and stepfather, Ray. Kelli Farris served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Chelsea Sogard, Meredith Currence and Amanda Rhodes. All ladies are college friends of the bride. Tyler Mejia served as best man, while groomsmen were Jesse Jones, Thomas Gorsline and Matthew Morton. These gentlemen are friends of the groom. Other members of the wedding party included flower girls Katelynn Farris and Isla Okkinga; ring bearer Jacob Farris; ushers Logan Galloway, Matthew Gural, Kyle Dove, Andrew Lutz and Kyle Lutz; and candlelighters Tyler Dove and Alex Lutz. The rehearsal dinner was held at Galvin's Restaurant on Oct. 31, 2008. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn of St. Joseph. The newlyweds honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. They reside in Platte City, Mo. Jennifer graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2008 with a B.S. in biology. She is employed at Hennessy Research Association in Shawnee, Kan., as a quality control assistant. Brad is a 2006 graduate of the Missouri Western State University Law Enforcement Academy. He is a deputy with the Platte County Sheriff's Department, Platte City.

Williams
Jane and Estil Williams of Lathrop, Mo., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 1. They were married at the Lathrop Christian Church on this date in 1959. They lived on the family farm until their move to Lathrop in 1997. Their sons and spouses are Mark and Anita, Kearney, Mo., Jeff and Teresa and Scott and Kelly, Lathrop. There are five grandchildren. A reception will be held Feb. 1 at the Lathrop Christian Church Fellowship Hall from 2 to 4 p.m. No gifts please.

Donnet Marie Smith and Trevor Scott Bush, both of Savannah, Mo., were married on Dec. 8, 2008. The wedding took place in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Phyllis and Robert (Joe) Sigrist of St. Joseph celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 22. Mr. Sigrist married Miss Devorss on that date in St. Joseph in 1949 at Minister McClurg's residence. Their children are Marsha McClain of St. Joseph and Kathy Hoffman and husband, Dave, of Wichita, Kan. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Erin Stephanie Shelton and Patrick Christopher Losson were married July 12, 2008, at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church in St. Louis, Mo. She is the daughter of Steve and Sharon Shelton of Jackson, Mo. He is the son of Christopher and Deanna Losson of St. Joseph. The bride was escorted by her father. Father Thomas Miller and Pastor Rick Lasley presided over the ceremony. Maid of honor was Sara Shelton and bridesmaids were Ali Borgsmiller, Nicole Drennan, Dara Markenson and Kayla Medley. Best men were James Kemper and Seth Elrod. Groomsmen were Mark Ostendorf, Chip Hayes and David Heldenbrand. Others in the wedding party were Hannah Dobsch, flower girl, and Aaron Dobsch, ring bearer. Readers were Elizabeth Losson, Matthew Shelton and Kelly Losson. Eucharistic ministers were Patty and Chuck Hayes. A rehearsal dinner was held at McGurk's Pub. The reception was held at the Forest Park Visitors Center. The newlyweds honeymooned at the Tides Resort in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. They reside in Madison, Wisc. She is a 2002 graduate of Bishop Sikeston R-6 High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Missouri with a bachelor of science in architectural Studies degree. She now serves as the marketing coordinator for Tilehaus, LLC in Madison. He is a 2001 graduate of Bishop LeBlond High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is employed with Epic System in Madison.
