John “Jack” Angold and Nellie Brushwood, current residents of St. Joseph, were married November 7, 1959, in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Their children are Yvonne (Robert) Wippel and Clint (Mary) Angold, all of St. Joseph. They have two grandchildren, Lorna Hamilton and Jana Ross; and one great-grandchild, Jaxson Ross.

Casey Jo Freeman of St. Joseph and Jordan Spencer Sumner of Sedalia, Mo., are engaged to be married.
She is the daughter of Mark and Tereasa Freeman of St. Joseph. He is the son of Steve and Anita Sumner of Sedalia.
The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. December 19, 2009, at Maplewood Church in Sedalia.

Lindsey Marie Remington and Michael Walter Freudenburg were united in marriage on September 25, 2009, at The Sanctuary Resort in Paradise Valley, Ariz. Both are residents of Chandler, Arizona.
She is the daughter of Scott and Debbie Remington of Omaha, Neb. Lindsey’s grandparents are Eugene and Helen Logsdon and Wes and Patsy Remington, all of St. Joseph. Lindsey graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in journalism. She is currently an account executive with Wells Fargo.
Michael is the son of Roger and Bonnie Freudenburg of Battle Creek, Neb. His grandparents are Arland and Almira Freudenburg of Battle Creek and Elvin and Maxine Gocker of Norfolk, Neb. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a BS in criminal justice and is currently a sales representative with Wells Fargo.
The wedding took place at 5:30 p.m. under the direction of Dr. Jimmy Albright. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Jenny Debenito served as maid of honor with Jessica Hausman, Holly Allen, Seana Kromann, Tresa Pentella and Amy Neiboer as bridesmaids. Buck Reeves was the best man while Steve Obst, Ben Bierman, Matt Hodgekinson, Scott Siepman and Sim Shambeau served as groomsmen. The bride’s brothers, Justin and Christopher Remington, were ushers. Pearson Wheeler was the ring bearer and Emily Heidenreich was the flower girl.
The groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Don & Charlie’s Restaurant on September 24. The reception was held at the Sanctuary Resort. The newlyweds honeymooned in San Diego, Calif.

Denise Nicole Hawk and Mickey Mantle Meers II are engaged to be married.
She is the daughter of William and Deborah Hawk of Effingham, Kan. He is the son of Mickey and Karla Meers of Elwood, Kan.
They will be married at 4 p.m. November 7, 2009, at Twin Spires in St. Joseph.

Jeana Katherine Johnson of Agency, Mo., and Ryan Christopher Harper of Easton, Mo., are engaged to be married.
She is the daughter of Barbara Johnson of Agency, Mo. He is the son of Pamela and Dennis Harper of Easton.
Jeana graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor of science in nursing. She currently works at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital. Ryan received a BS in business administration from Missouri Western and an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University. He is a sales manager at Office Depot.
The wedding will take place at 6:30 p.m. November 14 at Green Valley Baptist Church, St. Joseph.

Jennifer Leigh King and Tyler Dale Griffin are engaged to be married. She is the daughter of Lynn and Debbie King of St. Joseph. He is the son of Kevin and Tanya Griffin of Stewartsville, Mo.
Jennifer graduated from Benton High School in 2007 and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology at Missouri Western State University. Tyler graduated from Stewartsville High School in 2007 and is currently pursuing a degree in computer science from Missouri Western.
They are to be married November 14, 2009.
