Unless you are a rabid fan or at least a curious listener of The Beatles, you don't care too much about songs known as "B-Sides." They are often the least accessible tracks from a band. Songs a band doesn't think would fly on mainstream radio.
That being said, this is not a blog about B-Sides.
It is very elementary. The "B" stands for "Blake" and the "Sides" basically stands for my opinion. I know, groundbreaking, right?
But don't get it twisted. This is not another version of "On The Scene" in Off Hours or "Sound, Scene, Delivered" on this Website. Both of those sections are ways to either preview upcoming events in St. Joseph and surrounding areas or review things that have already happened that I attended.
"B-Sides" is going to be completely donated to music on a national level. It's where I will be reviewing newly released CDs and even revisiting a few from my collection that I suspect many of you have and forgot about or at least have an opinion on yourself.
I will also be discussing bands, artists, the industry, issues and other news about popular music and not-so-popular music. It's going to be all music, all the time.
Please, give this new blog o' mine a shot. Hopefully, this "B-Side" will turn out to be a "Yellow Ledbetter" instead of something completely forgetable.
