Could becoming a has-been save Lindsey Lohan’s career?
If Lindsey lays low for awhile, Hollywood might forget her partying past

Lindsey Lohan’s getting nervous. Life as a has-been is becoming more and more a reality. Lindsey recently told Paper magazine: “Right now I just want to find a great script, a great role. I was so used to working and working and working, and for a good few months there was nothing for me to do. Now I know what it’s like to be an out-of-work actor, and how much it scares me.”

That would explain why she took those naked pictures for New York magazine, recreating shots done by Marilyn Monroe decades earlier, she was trying to drum up some publicity. The pictures, by the way, were a disgrace to Marilyn’s memory. Marilyn had style, class and talent, qualities Lindsey absolutely does not possess.

But I digress. Really, I think the best thing for Lindsey would for her to fade into obscurity for awhile. For one, it would take her down a notch, show her she’s not the hottest thing in Hollywood.

And two, it would give people enough distance from her that she could make a legitimate comeback. Right now, nobody’s going to take her seriously. The fans are sick of her, and the movie studio execs don’t want to work with her. It’d be better for her to go away for awhile, and come back in a few years with a movie that can do her acting talents justice (perhaps “The Parent Trap 2”).

Or am I wrong? Would going into hiding be career suicide for Lindsey? (Although if starring in ‘I Know Who Killed Me” wasn’t, I don’t know what was.)
