Vote Constitution Party

America’s two-party controlled system has given you lobbyist-driven massive federal debt and foreign indebtedness, the free-trade failure of outsourced jobs and de-industrialized cities, an uncontrolled illegal invasion, undeclared wars for empire and a nationwide deregulated market-driven economic crisis. Why not consider a third party that supports the Founders’ original idea, government limited by the Constitution which is “of, by and for the people,” still unique and something we haven’t seen for a long time?

The Missouri Secretary of State’s office has just completed its certification process. This November you can vote to restore freedom! First, read the platform at ConstitutionPartyMo.org. Then cast your vote for Constitution Party candidates at local, state and federal levels!

Some simple rules

I don’t live in St. Joseph, but I’ve been reading the News-Press a long time. Despite a clean out of the council and a new mayor, I see no sign that the city “gets it.” 1. Is this necessary? If not, leave it alone. Merely desirable is not enough to go ahead. 2. If it’s necessary, is the city the entity that must do it?

The city should not police people’s lawns and sidewalks. It’s not necessary (until overgrown into a fire hazard). The city should not license, tax or restrict handymen and contractors. Other governments already have laws that apply. The city should not help fund private business whether existing or new. Neither should they discourage them with taxes. The city should not fund museums or try to preserve heritage architecture — it’s not appropriate city business. And if I want a pool ... go away, city, not your business.
