Crazy for tenderloin

The tenderloin contest is picking up steam.

So far, we’ve heard from 11 different restaurants in the region, each one insisting they have the best tenderloin.

I’m not one to argue.

We’re putting out the call for restaurants to enter the Missouri Pork Association’s “Best Breaded Pork Tenderloin” contest. The pork group is doing most of the work, we’re helping restaurants fill out the application and doing what we can to bring the title to Northwest Missouri.

The deadline in June 13, so we don’t have much time to spare. If you haven’t entered yet, go to the web site at the pork association to print off an application. We can also mail or fax you one.

You’ll need a description of the sandwich and a photo. Call me at (816) 271-8560 if we can help you.
