Division expands to 12 employees
Four new staff have joined Commerce Trust Co.
With the new staff, the trust division expands from eight to 12 employees.
“It really demonstrates Commerce’s commitment to the community,” said Brad Scott, market executive of the trust company.
Shane McDonald and Terri Woods have joined the company as trust administrators. Angela Stone and Julie Mires are trust administrative assistants.
The trust company is located at Commerce’s Fourth and Felix streets location. The business manages money for individuals and families who have placed their assets in a trust and charitable institutions.
“Most all of it is tailored to the high net worth individual,” Mr. Scott said.
Trust managers stay at financial institutions for long periods of time.
“This is a unique time for this market,” Mr. Scott said.
