ARRESTS

Darryl L. Kelley, 39, 3405 Faraon St., at 9:29 a.m. Wednesday by the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of nonsupport.

Teresa K. Ford, 53, 217 Wilmer Lane, at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday by the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of possession or attempted possession, with intent to distribute, deliver or manufacture a controlled substance.

Belinda L. Heaston, 33, 3006 S. 36th St., at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday by the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of forgery.

Correction: A charge was listed incorrectly in Friday’s Police Briefs because of incorrect information given to the News-Press. Teresa K. Ford, 53, 217 Wilmer Lane, was listed as being arrested on a charge of possession or attempted possession of a controlled substance, with intent to distribute, deliver or manufacture. She was actually arrested on a probation violation. The News-Press apologizes for the error.
