Court costs are not included in the figures below. The usual court cost is $106.50 for misdemeanors and $283.50 for felonies. Added into this are other costs, such as the cost of arrest for a charge of driving while intoxicated. The additional fees can bring the court costs up to $400 or more.

Second St., for three years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of nonsupport; must make child-support payments of $178 per month and $50 per month on arrearages; must consent to wage-withholding order; must maintain employment or make good-faith effort to obtain employment and must submit to fingerprinting at the Law Enforcement Center.

Donnie R. Embrey, 41, 2403 S. Riverside Road, for two years after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated; must serve 10 days shock detention; must not consume any alcohol; must perform 25 hours community service and must attend two AA meetings per week.

Andrew N. Gillpatrick, 44, Wathena, Kan., for two years after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of nonsupport; must make child-support arrearage payments of $500 per month on arrearages; must consent to wage-withholding order; must maintain employment or make good-faith effort to obtain employment and must submit to fingerprinting at the Law Enforcement Center.

Joshua E. Knowles, 27, Pattonsburg, Mo., for two years after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of violating an order of protection; must serve 10 days shock detention; given credit for 10 days already served; must have no contact with Angela Parks; must be evaluated for anger control; must not consume alcohol and must reside with parents.

Brian M. Marriott, 17, 6911 Ollmeda St., for two years after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault; must be evaluated for anger control problems and must submit to a mental health exam.

Anthony S. Merced, 24, 5505 S.W. Lakefront Lane, for one year on a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident; must pay restitution of $102.

Derrick C. White, 30, Kansas City, for three years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of nonsupport; must make child-support payments of $50 per month and $50 per month on arrearages; must consent to wage-withholding order; must maintain employment or make good-faith effort to obtain employment and must submit to fingerprinting at the Law Enforcement Center.

Sentenced to jail

Tommy L. Burley, 18, 513 S. Ninth St., for 10 days after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges, count I, driving while license revoked, and count II, careless and imprudent driving; given credit for any time already served.

Robert D. Thomas, 31, 1902 Lafayette St., for 10 days after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended; given credit for any time already served.
