PRINCETON, Mo. — A Princeton woman was injured after crashing her pickup in Mercer County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The driver, 46-year-old Sandy Hoover, was first transported by a Mercer County ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Mo. She was then transferred by Lifeflight air ambulance to Liberty Hospital. A condition report was unavailable.
According to the patrol, the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 136 in Mercer County at about 9:15 a.m. Ms. Hoover was driving her 1994 Chevy S-10 12 miles east of Princeton when she hit a concrete culvert. The truck was overturned and came to rest on its top.
A summons is pending against Ms. Hoover, according to the patrol report.
