Voter registration on fire in Buchanan County

Citizens who want to have a say in who will run the White House, statehouse or Buchanan County Courthouse can head to the nearest fire house Tuesday night.

With Missouri’s voter registration deadline approaching at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Buchanan County Clerk Pat Conway’s office is putting on a Last Night Drive.

County residents will be able to register to vote or update their address and name information at eight St. Joseph fire stations, area libraries and grocery stores from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Call the clerk’s office at 271-1411 with any questions. The general election is set for Nov. 4.

Below is a complete list of Tuesday night’s voter registration locations:

Station No. 4, 3458 Ashland Ave.

Station No. 5, 4810 Frederick Ave.

Station No. 6, 3505 Pear St.

Station No. 8, 3308 Mitchell Ave.

Station No. 9, 2217 Frederick Ave

Station No. 10, 101 Illinois Ave.

Station No. 11, 2329 South 18th St.

Station No. 12, 2807 Saint Joseph Ave.

Downtown St. Joseph Public Library, 10th Avenue and Felix Street

Rolling Hills Library, 1904 N. Belt Highway

Hy-Vee, 201 N. Belt Highway

Woody’s Grocery Store, 11301 Missouri Route FF in Agency, Mo.
