Court costs are not included in the figures below. The usual court cost is $106.50 for misdemeanors and $283.50 for felonies. Added into this are other costs, such as the cost of arrest for a charge of driving while intoxicated. The additional fees can bring the court costs up to $400 or more.

Division 1

Judge Randall Jackson

Probation granted

Vincent G. Deangelis, 18, 5304 Frederick Blvd., for three years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of second-degree burglary; must serve two months shock detention; must remain at current residence; must obey curfew from 11 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; must have no contact with Lisa Menschik or Aaron Menschik; must submit to alcohol/drug testing; must submit to evaluation at Family Guidance Center; must not purchase, possess or consume alcohol; must not enter any place where alcohol is the main item for sale; must not associate with any persons known or suspected of using, selling or possessing illegal drugs, nor be on premises of Messanie Street between 10th and 22nd streets; must maintain employment; must pay restitution and must get high school diploma or GED.

Division 2

Judge Weldon Judah

Probation granted

Scott E. Campbell, 33, 3318 Monterey St., for three years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of driving while intoxicated; must serve 15 days shock detention; must pay restitution; must be evaluated for substance abuse; must submit to alcohol/drug testing and must maintain employment.

Scott A. Wright, 20, 3029 Lafayette St., for three years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession/discharging a loaded firearm/projectile weapon while intoxicated; must serve five days shock detention; given credit for three days already served; must not possess or consume alcohol or controlled substance; must submit to testing; must be evaluated for substance abuse; must maintain full-time employment and must perform 50 hours community service.

Division 4

Judge Daniel Kellogg

Probation granted

Heather L. Emberry, 34, for one year after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of passing a bad check; must pay restitution and must not be on premises of any casinos, gambling facilities or pool halls; may return to the state of Kansas.

Keith Hines Jr., 20, 2722 Renick St., for two years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of forgery; must not consume alcohol; must submit to alcohol/drug screening; must have no contact with victim or Joshua Schmitt; must not be on premises of any casinos, gambling facilities or pool halls and must abide by curfew from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Dale L. Richardson, 34, Cameron, Mo., for three years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of passing a bad check; must not consume alcohol; must not enter any establishment whose primary source of income is the sale of alcohol; must submit to alcohol/drug screening; must have no checking account; must pay restitution of $164.47 and must not be on premises of any casinos, gambling facilities or pool halls.

Nicholas D. Riley, 18, 2906 Jennifer Lane, for two years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of forgery; must not consume alcohol; must not enter any establishment whose primary source of income is the sale of alcohol; must be evaluated for substance abuse; must submit to alcohol/drug screening; must maintain employment; must not be on premises of any casinos, gambling facilities or pool halls; must obtain a GED or high school diploma; must abide by curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and must reside at community supervision center.

Sentenced to jail

Brian R. Osborn, 25, Stanberry, Mo., for 90 days after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, with intent to deliver.

Sentenced to prison

Shawn A. Fenson, 29, for five years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of second-degree burglary.

Samuel Lopez, 27, 1309 Penn St., for two years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Jarod L. Spence, 28, 1917 S. 38th St., for five years after probation revoked on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Christopher D. Wilkerson, 33, for two years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of stealing related offenses.

Division 5

Judge Keith Marquart

Arraignment set for Oct. 9

Eric J. Lizardi, 47, at 8:30 a.m. in Division 4 after preliminary hearing waived on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon.

Arraignment set for Nov. 4

Bryan L. McDaniel, 31, at 1:45 p.m. after preliminary hearing waived on a felony charge of nonsupport.
