Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art hosting 1924 dinner event

Rob Dalzell of 1924 Main Restaurant in the Crossroads District of Kansas City will present a special dinner at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art at 6 p.m. Oct. 20.

The menu will include cheddar ale soup, grilled broccolini, La Quercia Speck ham and toasted garlic, sausage, potato confit, braised cabbage and roasted apples. For dessert, there will be oatmeal stout cake, carmelized pears with whipped cinnamon creme fraiche and walnuts. The new Smokestack line of specialty beers from Boulevard Brewing Company will be featured as pairings with the dinner.

This is a fundraiser for the museum. The cost is $80 per person. Reservations should be made early, since there is limited seating. For more information and to make reservations, call 233-7003.
