Tuesday, October 14, 2008

St. Joseph, get ready for a second Biden.

Jill Biden, the wife of Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden, will be in the “St. Joseph and Kansas City areas” on Sunday, the Barack Obama campaign announced Tuesday.

No locations or times were included in the announcement.

Mr. Biden made a campaign appearance at Missouri Western State University last week.

Dr. Biden, an English professor at Delaware Technical and Community College, will spend three days in Missouri beginning Friday.

Her first stops will be in Columbia, St. Charles, St. Louis and Jefferson County on Friday. The next day, she travels to campaign stops in Cape Girardeau, Springfield and Joplin.

A native Pennsylvanian, Dr. Biden taught for 13 years in a public school district. She holds two master’s degrees, in English and reading, and earned her doctorate in education from the University of Delaware.
