Mixed feelings about nearing the end

Road about 160 miles ysterday.

Left North Platte and it was about 37 degrees outside. It warmed up in the 60's around noon and ended up becoming a glorious day in the 70's. It was sunny and there was hardly a cloud in the sky.

It was really a great day to be a live and out biking. They are predicting rain today so we'll see how that holds up.

Today we are shooting to make it to Marysville, KS.

We are starting to near the end of our trip, which gives us some mixed feelings. In some ways it's sad that we're coming to the end of our trip, but on the other hand both Danny and I are starting to get tremendously homesick.

It's going to be nice to go to bed at night and wake up in my own bed instead of strange hotel rooms across the country.

My only final though today is, navigation. I still have no idea how people navigated from Casper all the way out to Sacramento when the first set out across the West. I guess I'll have to take some visits to the museum to figure that out.
