Halo drops teaser for new campaign!
by Ricky Gipson
Monday, September 29, 2008

So I play Halo a lot. And Bungie's latest news release means I'll probably be playing it a lot more.

Over the weekend Bungie (the creators of Halo) released a teaser trailer for, what is rumored to be, an extension to the Halo 3 campaign.

Some of you may have heard about the big announcement Bungie was going to release at E3 before Microsoft decided to pull the plug on making the announcement. This appears to be that big announcement.

Some thought it might be new multiplayer maps (which are coming out soon), but the rumblings around the internet claim that it's going to be a downloadable campaign addition to Halo 3. After watching this video, I also believe that theory to be correct.

The big question floating around is if Master Chief will be making an appearance. Bungie already said that Halo 3 is the end of the Halo trilogy. And when we last saw Master Chief he was floating away on a half blown up ship. Perhaps there is more to the Halo story that we are unaware of (I swear, it better not be more Flood!).

Hopefully Bungie will release more information as the week goes on. Sadly, though, this is Bungie. Which means this could be awhile.

Battlefield 3 would be sweet. I like consoles more though. COD 4, BFBC, Ace combat 6, etc. all better than pc games. Bar none
