Flooding from the Platte River continues to block streets in Agency, Missouri.

Flood waters from most rivers and streams have begun to recede, but still many area roadways and farm fields remain under water.

The Missouri, the 102 and the Platte rivers are on their way down after pushing out of their banks threatening life and property.

The Platte crested Tuesday at 1pm at 28.09 feet with the National Weather Service predicting it will drop nearly 7.5 feet by 1pm Wednesday. In Andrew County, Route C, south of Rosendale and C at 48 highway remain blocked by the 102 River.

In Buchanan County, Route P is now open. Z and C are closed at 36 Highway, FF and H are closed near Agency and Route MM is still closed south of DD highway.

The Missouri River, which has remained just below flood stage, is predicted to drop another 3 feet by Wednesday afternoon.
