Court costs are not included in the figures below. The usual court cost is $106.50 for misdemeanors and $283.50 for felonies. Added into this are other costs, such as the cost of arrest for a charge of driving while intoxicated. The additional fees can bring the court costs up to $400 or more.

Division 1

Judge Randall Jackson

Sentenced to jail

Zackery A. McDonell, 21, 2602 S. 27th St., for six months after pleading guilty to a felony charge of second-degree assault.

Division 3

Judge Patrick Robb

Sentenced to prison

Sarah B. Cox, 28, 1526 Grand Ave., for four years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Dena P. Droz, 57, 13484 County Road 354, for five years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, with intent to distribute, deliver or manufacture.

Division 4

Judge Daniel Kellogg

Probation granted

Dawn M. Pedersen, 44, Clarinda, Iowa, for three years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, with intent to deliver.

Jeremy J. Vice, 23, Falls City, Neb., for two years after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, with intent to deliver.

Sentenced to jail

Brian L. Moran, 43, Gower, Mo., for 30 days after pleading guilty to count II, a misdemeanor charge of careless and imprudent driving; also granted probation for four years after pleading guilty to count I, a felony charge of driving while intoxicated; must serve 30 days shock detention and 120 days on SCRAM.

Division 5

Judge Keith Marquart

Arraignment set for March 16

Sherri L. Stewart, 38, at 8:30 a.m. in Division 3 after preliminary hearing waived on a felony charge of passing a bad check.

Fined

Clara B. Bish, 80, 6010 King Hill Ave., $50 on a misdemeanor charge of first-degree trespassing.

Stanley D. Ramsay, 50, 6207 Washington St., $50 after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of first-degree trespassing.

Probation granted

James J. Latzel Jr., 26, Fillmore, Mo., for six months after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of nonsupport; must make child-support payments of $74 per month.

Division 6

Judge Ronald Taylor

Arraignment set for March 9

Raymond E. Hardge, 39, at 8:30 a.m. in Division 3 after preliminary hearing waived on a felony charge of second-degree robbery.

Fined

Jordan M. Nielsen, 20, 2741 Lafayette St., $100 after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.

Probation granted

Bolton R. Hawkins, 31, 2419 N. Seventh St., for two years after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of nonsupport; must make child-support arrearage payments of $100 per month.
