Since we can’t spend all of our time discussing Rob Pattinson’s finer points (That hair! Those eyes!), let’s discuss some of the possible casting additions for “New Moon.”

According to reports, Dakotah Fanning is in talks to be cast as the child-like vampire Jane. I don’t know if I like the idea of a child actor playing someone who’s supposed to be centuries old. And while I think Dakotah is a good actor, I’m not sure I can see her playing someone so mean.

This tidbit from EW.com has a few suggestions for the casting of the Volturi, all of which I think are excellent possibilities. And we already know that Taylor Lautner will reprise the role of Jacob, but do you think he really can handle? Sure, he’s bulking up for the part, but I still think he’s too baby-face to try and compete with Rob Pattinson’s good looks (and Bella’s heart).
