Sturgis isn’t for everyone.
But you don’t need a huge rally with its traffic jams, scarce hotel rooms and expensive food to connect with other motorcycle riders. Maybe you prefer a smaller crowd or you like to ride for a charity such as the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies. Maybe you take a weekly dinner cruise or do a little riding then head to your favorite watering hole.
Whatever you do, it’s nice to let others know. With that in mind, stjoenews.net blog guru, Brent Scarbrough added a calendar of events to accompany Bikes -and- Booher. I’ve already listed a bunch of rallies, rides and cruises. Most of them are either local or regional, but I included a couple of the big events, like Sturgis and Daytona Bike Fest.
I know it’s almost August, but there are plenty of late summer and fall events. And, if you’d like to add your event, even if it’s just a weekly ride with friends, I’ll gladly post it to the Bikes -and- Booher calendar.
Just e-mail the details to steveb@npgco.com. Be sure to list all the event information. If you have a Web site, I’ll include that. Please give me a phone number so I can contact you if I have any questions.
Oh, yeah… here’s a disclaimer.
Most of the events on the calendar have Web sites where you can get more information. Although I tried to check each site, it’s possible you could run across some objectionable content. Please e-mail me to report any such content and I will either remove the event from the calendar or warn users that the site may contain words and images that are not “kid friendly.”
If you want to see the calendar, go back to the Bikes -and- Booher main page and click on the link above my latest entry. Or, just copy and paste this link into your Web browser: www.stjoenews.net/news/blogs/bikesandbooher/events/
