This video capture is from surveillance video at the Goetz Credit Union showing the man who robbed the institution Tuesday morning.
A lone robber held up the Goetz Credit Union Tuesday morning.
St. Joseph Police say this man walked into the Goetz Credit Union office on Howard Street and handed a teller a note demanding money, but did not display a weapon.
The robber was given an undisclosed amount of cash, then took off on foot heading west. Police Captain, Kevin Castle says they don't have a lot to go on other than the man was scragly in his appearence and apparently left the area on foot.
Both police and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
If you have any information, call the St. Joseph Police tips hotline at 238-TIPS.
This is the second robbery of a financial institution here in Saint Joseph in a week. The Nodaway Valley Bank in the 1700 Block on South Belt was robbed by a bicycle riding robber last week.
