Woman injured in afternoon accident
by St. Joseph News-Press
Saturday, June 6, 2009

A Cameron, Mo. woman is in the hospital after a Friday afternoon car accident.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, at about 3:30 p.m., Jamie and Jeremy Dancer, both of Cameron, Mo., were traveling eastbound in a 2000 Honda Civic on U.S. Highway 69 at 326th Street, four miles south of Cameron, Mo. The driver, Ms. Dancer, failed to yield at an intersection and pulled out in front of Sandra Martin, of Turney, Mo., causing the vehicles to collide in the southbound lane of U.S. 69 and block both lanes of traffic.

The report stated Ms. Dancer was taken by LifeNet Helicopter to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. On Friday evening, a nursing supervisor for the hospital said she was listed in fair condition. Mr. Dancer and Mr. Martin were both taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center where they were both treated and released.
