I thought I’d pass along some articles and blog posts I found interesting and/or entertaining this week.
On the health front, a teenage girl diagnosed her own disease, even after doctors failed to figure it out.
On the just-weird front, a Missouri family’s Christmas card photo mysteriously made its way to a huge storefront advertisement in Prague.
On the to-Kindle-or-not-to-Kindle front , writer Tim Challies shares why real books just might be better – if you have the space to house a thousand of them, at least. (I realize that probably not everyone engages in an internal debate over whether to invest in an electronic reading device, but if you do, it’s worth a read.)
And this one’s just fun.
John Thomas is right on in his "Powerful Attraction". Our dogs listen so well to my wife, but when I make commands they just look at me as if to say, "Who the hell do you think YOU are?"
Very funny piece.
