Long time CEO at Heartland Regional Medical center says goodbye. Heartland Health threw a huge retirement party for Lowell Kruse. Mr. Kruse celebrated with friends, family, Heartland Employees and community members this evening.
It was held under a big white tent in the hospital parking lot with free food, carriage rides, music, games and more. Mr. Kruse managed Heartland for more than two decades. Among his many successes, he was an influential health leader who oversaw the merger of two downtown hospitals into a new campus on the fringe of town.
Heartland is still in the process of hiring a new Chief Executive Officer.
Best news I've heard in ages..and I might add it's about time. He's been selling out St. Joe for years. Now if Heartland would get out of St. Joe and let a really caring hospital like St. Lukes take their place St. Joe would be perfect again. The employees and Dr.s at Heartland are great for the most part now if the Administration would let them practice their professions the way they were trained and let other Dr's in the area that aren't connected with Heartland it'd be even better so we can have a choise. Good riddens Mr. Kruse you should have left two decades ago.
