Chinese restaurant to locate in East Hills
by Jennifer Hall
Thursday, March 12, 2009

A second chinese food restaurant is in the works for the East Hills Shopping Center.

GB Chinese is currently working on design plans with MD Management, the mall’s management company, for an upcoming location, according to a mall official. No plans or permits have been submitted to the city. The shopping center already has an existing Chinese food restaurant, Chinex. The new restaurant is expected to locate in the new Sunporch Cafe. Original Pizza relocated within the mall to become the food court’s first tenant.

In spite of all the promises on behalf of the mangement company, this is the only name I have heard moving to East Hills. Good for them, I hope they do well in business, and the mall thrives once more.

I would still like to see a salad bar or sandwich shop move in there. And maybe a coffee shop too!
