Energy Assistance Available For Qualified Missourians

If you made less than $1,170.00 during the month of February, you could be eligible for help with your energy bill.

Community Action Partnership Of Greater Saint Joseph continues to accept applications for their energy assistance program, but the deadline is coming up soon. The credit offered through the federal government, is applied directly to the primary heating source of the household. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 31st.

According to Delphia Shanks, Director Of Community Development for Community Action Partnership, there is no limit to the funding, so everyone who is eligible and applies, will get the help they need.

Shanks says some people are eligile, who may not even know it.

Community Action Partnership is open 8 to 4:30, Monday through Friday, you can stop by their office at 8th & Monteray to apply, or download the application online. For the energy assistance website, click here.
