The St. Joseph Downtown Farmers Market will not be open this year.
The market, which has been at various locations for about 40 years, ended its last season in September 2008. The market’s organizer, Shirley Smith, said the closing would be permanent. Ms. Smith had been involved in the market since its inception.
Customers can still get fresh produce at the Pony Express Farmers Market in the East Ridge Village Shopping Plaza on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Any reason why not? Economic? Logistic? Not much of a story here without the whys... :P
justme I agree. Why is it not opening?
Could you be a little more vague please?
