Man robs Pizza Hut after asking for job application
by St. Joseph News-Press
Monday, November 2, 2009

Police are searching for a job applicant-turned-robber who struck at a Pizza Hut on King Hill Avenue Sunday afternoon.

The man entered the store at about 3:30 p.m., asked for an application and seated himself at a dining room table.

When an employee left to deliver a pizza and another stepped outside to smoke a cigarette, the man allegedly approached the cash register.

St. Joseph Police Sgt. Brad Kerns said the man told the clerk that he had a gun, but he did not show one. He fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

Store surveillance footage shows the suspect running along the backside of the store. Mr. Kerns said the man had not put any information on the job application.

He is described as a white man with dirty blonde hair and wearing a gray hoodie, Mr. Kerns said. He is also described as between 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 5 feet, 10 inches tall and between 150 and 200 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hot line, 238-TIPS.

But the good news, his experience now qualifies him to be President of the United States, receive the Nobel Peace Prize or be appointed to the cabinet by President Obama! Good news for him!
