United Way Goes Beyond

The United Way Of Greater St. Joseph threw a celebration party Thursday night. Their goal has been reached.

The victory celebration was held Thursday at the Fulkerson Center on the campus of Missouri Western State University. This years goal was $3.3 million and printed t shirts with the campaign's finall tally on the back officially announced the total. The goal was not only reached, but surpassed by $56,000.

The United Way distributes annual funding to 18 health and human services agencies in and around the St. Joseph area as well as sponsoring such community initiatives as Success By 6 and Profit In Education.
