Man Accused of Pizza Hut Robbery Arrested

Jason E. Demming is accused of robbing the Southside Pizza Hut.

A man who police say robbed a Southside Pizza Hut is now in custody.

28 year old Jason Edward Deming was arrested and charged with second degree robbery. He's being held on a $75,000 bond.

Authorities say on November 1st, Deming entered the restaurant, asked for a job application and took a seat at a dining room table. He allegedly approached the cash register after one employee left to deliver a pizza and another stepped outside to smoke. The man told a clerk he had a gun and demanded money. After getting some cash, he left the business not injuring anyone.
