Annabell M. McConnell will celebrate her 80th birthday on October 11. She was born on that date in 1929 in the big town of Nodaway.
She married Harold McConnell and they had four children: Evelyn Jungk, Luella Reilly, Floyd McConnell, and Terry McConnell. She has 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. October 11 at the Fraternal Order of Police, NWMO No. 3, 3005 Pear St., St. Joseph. All family and friends are invited to the potluck.
