Lucy Barger

Lucy Barger of St. Joseph will celebrate her 90th birthday on October 10.

She was born in 1919 in Great Bend, Kan. She married John Barger in 1943 and was later divorced. Lucy retired from Custom Cable in St. Joseph.

Her children and their spouses are: Robert (Mary Lynn) Barger, and Sandra (Kenny) McDonnell of St. Joseph; Scott (Roxanna) Lewis Bothell of Washington; and Eunice (Charlie) King of Wathena, Kan. There are 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Her children will be hosting a celebration on from 2 to 4 p.m. at Community of Christ Church, 5130 Faraon Street, on October 10. All family and friends are invited.
