Scared
I cannot believe this president. It just came out from the White House that they said it would be reckless to send more troops to Afghanistan without a clear plan. Now, you tell me how it’s less reckless to let our troops that are there be slaughtered. They need help. My son is ready to go back to Iraq for his second tour of duty, and I am scared to death.
Just the ‘facts’
I’ve been informed by callers to this column that FOX network people give us only proven facts and real issues, not personal attacks. How did they prove the “fact” that President Obama hates white people?

Today, going down the Belt in front of Kmart, I am going the speed limit, which is 40. The man behind me is waving me to go faster. I want people to know that some people do still go the speed limit. If you’re late, leave earlier. Or if you’re going to act like that, don’t drive at all. Because you’re the type of person who causes accidents.

There are honest people in St. Joseph. My friend lost her billfold Sunday. She had personal identification, bank cards, insurance cards and $88 in cash. She had no idea where she had lost it, so we started calling places where we had been. Our hostess called the bus company and told them that a lady on the bus had lost her pink billfold. The bus was rechecked and they found her billfold with everything intact. Thank you, thank you.

The loony left lead this dithering incompetent residing in the white House around like a dog on their leash. They want out of Afghanistan and Barry is going to obey their commands until after his health insurance scam is passed for him to sign. In the meantime we may see more attacks on the moon, but not the troop reinforcements requested by combat generals on the ground.
First, let's establish some "truth"....something that many left-wingers are lacking....
Please provide PROOF that anyone in FoxNews said the President hates white people. Nope...I don't want a quote from Rachel Maddow or Keith Olbermann SAYING Fox said that. I want a quote directly from somone at Fox saying such a thing.
Remember all the hateful, racist things Rush Limbaugh supposedly said? Remember how NONE of that was true...yet he and his good name have been dragged through the mud because of those lies? Let's establish facts, first....THEN we'll talk about it....

i truely pray for your son and every serviceman or woman in uniform. sad politics have to decide your sons life. i do understand your anguish. my nephew is in 10th mountain on his second tour. i hate to think he could die because of a president who dosen't have the backbone to do what is right. it just brings to mined nam all over again. never really thought how me and two brothers being in nam affected my mom, but as i got older seeing the hell my sister-in law goes through i appreciate my mothers prayers all the more. i pray all will be well for your son.
Oberman lied about Rush, Beck lied about Oberman, Maddow said something about Fox, someone claimed the other said something about Obama....WHO CARES?? You can listen to Rush's "facts" and turn it over to Oberman and hear his exact opposite "facts".
But no worries about the economy, or the wars, I see the first lady is doing Leno ths week.
I'm with the guy on speeding. I don't like speeding and I have so many people that act like they want to drive me off the road for doing the speed limit. I'm sorry but I just can't afford a speeding ticket.
Support our troops - bring 'em home safely and soon.
I'm concerned, if we can't reinforce our deployed troops because there are corrupt politicians there, can we bring them home for the same reason?

This morning on Fox and Friends, Fox host Glenn Beck accused President Obama of being "a racist."
The group was discussing the recent Gates controversy, and Beck exclaimed that Obama has "over and over again" exposed himself as "a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture. I don't know what it is..."
When Fox's Brian Kilmeadeon pointed out that many people in Obama's administration are white, so "you can't say he doesn't like white people," Beck pressed on. "I'm not saying he doesn't like white people, I'm saying he has a problem," Beck said. "This guy is, I believe, a racist."

There's a huge difference in making a statement about the President's deplorable action's in the Gates/Crowley, and someone saying he "hates white people". I need a direct quote...not hearsay.
I watch Glenn Beck, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert for the same reason, a laugh. The problem is one of the shows is on a network that is supposed to show real journalism.

Beck was simply stating a fact. I have no problem with any news organization presenting facts. It's just a shame the facts hurt so many peoples feelings.
I rather see someone speed a little than do like the idiots that drive out on riverside road and turn out of the hospital or off of faraon when your doing the speed limit of 55 and they pull out in front of you and do 40 or 45. Those people are true idiots.
my observation is that most of what Beck does, he does by showing clips of whomever he is focusing on.....and the clip clearly, factually presents that persons opinion or the act beck is highlighting....Beck is not as personally opinionated as he gets credit for. I respect the fact that he does a pretty good job of getting the facts clearly documented.
I don't like his style and I don't like the times he gets cute.
I guess he must hate a lot of people when he shows those clips, allowing them to speak for themselves.
