A second man is now in federal custody on suspicion of ties to an October 13th home invasion near Lake Contrary.

29 year old Nathan Taylor, of St. Joseph, was being held locally on a $1,000 bond. Today, he was turned over to A.T.F. officers who in turn, handed him over to U.S. Marshals who now hold him on a charge of a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. According to the Buchanan County Sheriff's Department, Taylor is considered a person of interest in the recent home invasion case.

36 year old Creadele Harrison, arrested Wednesday, is now charged with felony receiving stolen property.

The two men are accused of participating in a home invasion on Southwest Lakefront Lane the night of the 13th. According to Sgt. Shawn Collie, two men armed with handguns and wearing masks and hooded sweat shirts invaded this home on the South Side. They allegedly tied up the father while making threats to the man and his wife as their two children slept in a nearby bedroom. Collie says they were looking for narcotic medications and a safe. Guns were also taken in the burglary.
