by St. Joseph News-Press
Tuesday, October 27, 2009

AgriLabs Inc. said Monday it will add three cattle vaccines to its line of animal health products.

The St. Joseph-based company acquired exclusive rights to sell, market and distribute vaccines previously sold by Boehringer Inghelheim Vetmedica Inc. The drugs are Pulmo-Guard PHM-1, Pulmo-Guard PH-M and the combination Express 5-PHM.

“These exciting products have an excellent reputation of safety and efficacy,” Steve Schram, president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

Along with AgriLabs’ other animal health products, he said the acquisition will help the company provide veterinarians, beef and dairy producers with a complete and reliable line of cattle vaccines.

The AgriLabs brand includes more than 750 animal health products that are marketed through its AgriLabs, Prolabs and Tradewinds companies. Its 54,000-square-foot warehouse and shipping facility is on Missouri Route K.
