Caldwell County teen involved in serious crash

BRAYMER, Mo. - An 18-year-old Caldwell County resident was involved in a traffic crash Sunday morning off Missouri Highway 116, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Jami K. Kidd, Braymer, Mo., was seriously injured in the accident, the patrol's report said. No information on her condition could be obtained Sunday night.

The patrol said the wreck happened at 8:15 a.m., three miles west of Braymer on Highway 116. The 1995 Pontiac Ms. Kidd was driving entered a curve and drove off the right side of the road and onto the gravel shoulder.

The vehicle then traveled back onto the highway, with Ms. Kidd losing control. The Pontiac skidded off the right side of the highway, crossed Catawba Road, and traveled off the west side - overturning about three times.

Ms. Kidd was ejected from the vehicle, which landed on its wheels off the west side of Catawba Road, the report added.
