Flea market at St. Joseph Museum

Bargain hunters will want to take the time to visit the “Treasures, Trash, and Tunes” fresh air flea market from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 on the grounds of the St. Joseph Museum, 3406 Frederick Ave.

Vendors at the market run the gamut from church groups to candlemakers. Visitors can shop for antiques, collectibles, baskets and fall décor, bird and butterfly houses, jewelry and other items. There also will be a food vendor.

The “Tunes” portion of this day-long event will be provided by Missouri Western State University students. There will be performances by the Renaissance Singers at 10 a.m., The Fiddlers Three at 11 a.m. and the Griffon Junior Singers at 1:30 p.m. MWSU violinists will complete the mix of musical entertainment beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Antique show in Leavenworth

The third annual Hayfield Antique Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 3 at 15964 Gilman Road in Leavenworth, Kan.

The show will feature leading antique dealers from Kansas and Missouri. Antiques will include period furniture, folk and fine art, ceramics, porcelain, silver, jewelry and textiles. Early buying hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 2. Admission is free.
