Blunt and Carnahan in dead heat for Senate seat
A poll released Wednesday by Rasmussen Reports has next year's U.S. Senate race in Missouri as a dead heat.
The telephone survey of Missouri voters has Democrat Robin Carnahan and Republican Roy Blunt favored by 46 percent of respondents.
The two are thought to be leading candidates to succeed Republican Kit Bond, a 23-year senator who decided to retire when his term expires.
