Varice Evans, Wathena, Kan. // 1932 - 2009
WATHENA, Kan. — Varice Evans, 77, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the Wathena Nursing and Rehab in Wathena.
Varice was born October 18, 1932, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Ples and Louise (Stokes) Richardson.
She worked as a supervisor for TWA Airlines.
Varice married Frank Evans; he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her friend, Gene Arnold of St. Joseph, and all her friends at the Wathena Nursing and Rehab.
Memorial Services: 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 6, at the Wathena Nursing and Rehab. Inurnment: Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena.
The body has been cremated. There is no scheduled visitation.
Arrangements: Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena.
