Ernest and Myrtle were my godparents. We lost touch many years ago, but it is still sad to hear of his passing. I remember going with dad (Bill Wild) as a little girl to the farm on Saturday for eggs;I remember when they moved into town, just a block away from our house; and I remember the lye soap on grandma's kitchen sink that she always had to let visitors know that Myrtle made that soap.
My heart felt sympathy to the family.
