RAVENWOOD, Mo. — Harold James “Rusty” Teaney 88, Ravenwood, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at home in Ravenwood.
He was born January 20, 1921 in Ravenwood, the son of Thomas Roy and Ora Leta (Loomis) Teaney.
Harold was a 1939 graduate of Ravenwood High School and served in the US Army during World War II.
He married Agnes Berg June 4, 1951, in Little Rock, Ark.
Rusty was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church and a retired carpenter.
He was preceded in death by a son, Harold James Teaney Jr., and his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes of their home; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Connie Teaney, and John and Jeannie Teaney, all of Ravenwood; grandchildren, Jackie Miller, Sarah Teaney, Joshua Teaney, and Jacob Teaney; great-grandchildren, Brea and Justin Miller.
Visitation is anytime after 9 a.m. Friday, November 6, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Mo. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, November 7, Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood.
Memorials may be made to the Ravenwood Christian Church in Harold’s name.
