Velma Jacobson, HIAWATHA, Kan.
HIAWATHA, Kan. — Velma E. Jacobson, 93, Hiawatha, died November 5, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar B. Jacobson; parents, John Henry and Oda Taylor Brown; a son, Kenneth, who was killed in a farming accident in early 1960s at age 15; two brothers, two sisters.
Velma is survived by nieces and nephews.
Services: 3 p.m. Saturday, Zion Lutheran Cemetery, north of Everest. Procession of family and friends leaving Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha, at 2:30.
