Scotty James Weekly, 46, St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009, in a St. Joseph, hospital.
He was born February 1, 1963, in Kansas City, Mo. He worked in the construction industry.
He enjoyed fishing and race car driving. and was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include wife, Christina Weekly of the home; his parents, Isaac and Mary (Weekly) Roberts of St. Joseph; daughters, Courtney Weekly and Candice Kelly both of St. Joseph; son, James Weekly, Bethany, Mo.; brother, Mark Weekly of Kansas City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Father Joseph Powers Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, at the Rupp Funeral Home with the family to receive friends until 8:00 p.m. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery. The obituray forgot to mention the fact that he had three other daughters, Dawn, Theresa, Stephanie, and another son Dusky. James' last name is not Weekly.
