July 4th fireworks are fine.....it's the fireworks for the 2 weeks before and after the 4th that are a nuisance.
speaking of fireworks. Where is St Joe having them this year now that lake contrary isnt doing it?
I suggest the South Side put pressure on Ron Hook, Buchanan County Western Commissioner, to get that money back, for the Fourth of July, next year. Once the celebration is stopped, it may be hard to get it back again. Where is Mark Sheehan when you need him?
Who cares if its 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after. Dont you think America is worth a month of celebration? These are probably the people who moved next to the train tracks then gripe about the noise. I also think its a crock that everything is illegal.
peole want to gripe about everything kids want to do. doesn't anyone remember being kids and waiting for mom or dad to go get fireworks and then waiting for it to get dark enough so we could all set outside as a family and shoot them off? Everytime you turn around in this town someone is complaining about things that were a normal thing we did as a family. Maybe that is why the family element is broke in this town. Let the kids have fun for once.
