Angela is beginning her journalism career as a reporter/anchor for St. Joe Now. She was born in Sacramento, CA and moved to St. Joseph when she was 7 years old. There she attended Hyde, Spring Garden and is a 2003 Benton High School graduate. Angela attended Northwest Missouri State University after graduating high school. There she received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Broadcasting in April 2007. While at Northwest she worked for both the school newspaper and yearbook as a reporter. She co-hosted the TV show "Bearcat Idol" on KNWT Channel 8 in Maryville and helped with various other projects for the station. Angela interned at KQ2 in the summer of 2006 as a reporter and also worked for them on weekends part time into September of 2006. In her free time Angela likes to write, watch movies and hang out with friends and family. She is excited to be back in her hometown and delivering the news to St. Joseph.

In response to the Supreme Court ruling, Governor Matt Blunt reaffirmed Missouri's support for the Second Amendment Thursday. Blunt signed House Bill 2034, that provides civil immunity for owners and authorized users of firearm ranges. It also provides civil and criminal liability protection for owners and users of hunting preserves, among other things.

Blunt said he is pleased to sign legislation that will protect the Second Amendment and Missourians' right to bear arms.
