Justin has been a member of the St. Joe Now Weather team since May 2006. Since then, he has covered many severe events--from tornado outbreaks to the Ice Storm of December 2007. Justin also forecasts for the St. Joseph News-Press Newspaper and online for Sun Publications and Sun News in the Greater Kansas City area.
Weather is a passion for Justin. He initially got hooked after storm spotting the summer after high school graduation. Justin got his degree from the University of Kansas in Atmospheric Science with an emphasis in News/Media Forecasting. He got his start in TV weather as a forecaster for the KU news program and KUJH. He continued his education interning at the ABC affiliate in Kansas City, MO.
Justin enjoys talking about weather with classrooms, church groups, and anyone who wants to know more about how the skies churn and turn.
Outside of weather, Justin is an avid Jayhawk fan and lifelong Royals fan. He plays golf, baseball, loves to sing, and restore old cars with his father.
