I have to agree with the majority; The New-Press has stooped to a new low. But hey, what do you expect for such a po-dunk town like St. Joe? There is a negative job growth, and a negative population growth. And as far as crime and prosecution is St. Joe, it all depends on your income level; if you are poor you are guilty, and if you are well off you are innocent.
It's only a matter of time before this becomes a ghost town.
On Is it fair to make the recent alleged murder a racial issue?
I question why such an antiquated system has gone this long without the city doing anything about it? Where has all the tax money from the past several decades been spent?
For starters I would have conducted an extensive and exhaustive search of their family tree, in which I truly believe would have produced tremendous and accurate results almost immediately. If for some reason that search was fruitless, I would have contacted the FBI, in which I have personally found to be the most helpful avenue in solving an identity theft situation a few years ago, whereas they discovered and located the perpetrator in less than 20 minutes in a matter that I had worked on for the past 2 years.
As far as knowing the extent of search criteria that was employed “in vain” by the city in locating Mr. Hargrove, I do not work for the city, and thus I have no knowledge of what avenues were implemented. My criticism of the city comes from reading Mr. Hargrove’s own words, in which he said “They must not have looked very hard, because I’m right here.”

Talk about a moron who supposedly tried searching for an heir to this land, "The city of St. Joseph tried in vain to find an heir to France Park."
What does the city consider "tried in vain" to consist of; looking out the office window for a few seconds and not seeing anyone carrying a banner saying they are the rightful heir, and then returning to their desk to drink their latte? And yet it merely took one person a few minutes to read the article, and one simple phone call to find the rightful heir?
Give me a break, I have never in my life witnessed such a blatant lack of intelligence in the city government as I have witnessed in St. Joe. This is absolutely the most ridiculous news article I have ever read in my entire life, however, it does not surprise me one bit coming from the city leaders.

To each and every individual on this board who may be reading these posts; I offer my sincere apology for continually having to defend myself against Mr. Wrong_Winger and his constant verbal attacks against my character. This all started when I paid a sincere compliment to two other people who were engaged in a very well versed debate, yet Winger couldn’t hold his tongue and had to turn it around into a degrading statement. I even question myself for responding to his ridiculous posts, but it is only human for one to come out swinging when backed into a corner. Mr. Wrong_Winger has obviously crossed the line in his postings, and all that is needed to confirm this is to scroll up to see where I had one of his posts removed for defaming my parents in a very, very derogatory fashion.
I am not perfect in any way, nor am I the “almighty” as one of Winger’s supporters wrote, I am merely a very gentle man who is here to debate in a fair transcript of opinions. Again, I send my sincere apology to this entire board for continually having to witness such an attack of my character by Mr. Wrong_Winger, and my defense of such thereafter. As you can see for yourself, he refuses to let up even in his latest post, God bless you Winger......

Wrong_Winger, you still don't get the concept, do you? Again, a word (i.e. “nickname”) cannot be dangled unless it is printed out and hung from a string, it has no particulate matter, what don’t you understand about that? Besides, God already gave me way more than plenty to dangle………
Dude, does your boss read these posts? I hope he does; he'll soon discover your complete lack of intelligence and you'll soon be receiving your final paycheck shortly thereafter.

It is blatantly obvious that Wrong_Winger just can't let this rest without adding more insulting stabs in the back with every stroke of the key, even if he tries his best to hide them between the lines.
In Winger's 11:41 a.m. post (his second to last post) he wrote "One of the programs Gov. Sarah Palin wants to promote is increasing support for children with learning disabilities with one of the goals being to improve their written communication skills, especially spelling and punctuation."
"Spelling and punctuation" is precisely what he and I have been debating over the past several posts.
In Winger's 1:42 p.m. post (his last post) he used the word "somebodies" in another apparent stab in the back.
"Somebodies" is another precise word that he and I have debated in the past several posts.
I will say this to Mr. Wrong_Winger; People like you fall like flies on a daily basis, and therefore I have absolutely nothing to fear from you at all, and you will eventually cut your own throat if you haven’t already done so. Obviously and coherently, you refuse to stop making degrading insults, even if they are noticeably but poorly hidden between the lines of your most recent posts. In fact, your pretentious, boisterous and even bombastic demeanor will cost you dearly some day when you arrogantly step on the toes of someone that is far more important in society than yourself. Your appearance on this board has only proven your unabashed wicked ways, your uppity poised attitude, and your disheartening dislike for anyone who doesn’t see things precisely as you do.
Go “dangle your participles” Mr. Winger….! The phrase that you attempted to use against me as a degrading insult quickly blew up in your own face, as that is an endeavor that is physically, mathematically and scientifically impossible to conduct.

Ninja, if you will scroll back and clarify for yourself, this all started when I paid a sincere compliment to both apmastrangelo and randallhuston for engaging in such a fair worded, low keyed and well discussed debate. I even admited that I had to research a few of the words they used in their posts. It wasn't until Wrong_Winger took the first stab at me in his very next reply saying "Hope you are able to understand the words of more than two syllables."
When you speak of a personal attack against another person on this message board, please know your facts as to whom said what first, then you will have an idea of why I have responded the way I have. Again, all you have to do is scroll back to see what was said by Winger.
