This is a great idea and it's quite shocking that anyone would call an attempt to keep lower-income families keep warm during the winter "politically motivated." I'm glad that Blunt is pushing this issue - an issue that is entirely non-partisan - and I hope it's on the table and passed before January.

Great piece. I agree fully - Blunt is a rising star, and we should keep an eye out for him. Wouldn't be surprised if he returned to run again for Gov, or maybe even Senate. His strong conservative leadership brought a budget surplus to our state, he's been tough on illegal immigrants, and is a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. A true-blooded conservative overall. I do hope he returns - we need more Young Guns like him to represent our party.
