I wont ever drink and drive i dont care if i have to walk home because my job and my family is not worth one stupid night thinking i could get somewhere and get caught let alone hurting or killing somebody else and having to live with that forever.... and yes pops... i am young (22) and i know this its just to bad that some 30,40, or 50 year olds dont see it.
I will miss not haveing this parade this year..... i didnt attend last year because of work and i was really looking forward to it this year since my husband and i are moving away in july with the military. The things that the non supporters dont see is that people went down there to have fun rather it be drinking or not drinking. At events like this you get to see people that you may have not saw in years. And that is the only reason i go stand out in the freezing cold for a parade. And pops.... not everybody is dumb enough to drink and drive myself and my friends take turns being the DD and it has worked out very well for us. BUT there is still those dumb people we see everyday in the news paper who get a DWI. But it def. isnt everybody. You can still go to those places and have fun even being the dd if ur with ur friends who you can laugh and have a good time with it dont really matter if you are drunk or not. In fact when i am with my friends i hardly ever get "drunk" because it is fun just dancing around and being out of the house and away from work.
honestly i would never send my worst enemy there... they gave my husband the wrong shot one time and told him his pain was his imagination and sent him on his way then we get a 6000 dollar medical bill.. hmmm kinda funny. We had to go to Liberty Hospital to get the answers. All they are out for is the money they dont care about the patients. After i paid them in full... i still got a call from them saying i owed more interest. (oh and FYI we didnt get anything off the bill because you gotta be homeless or close to it to get any help from them)
And heck i know employees that will say the same thing and admit that they are actually horrible employers.
seriously.... my dogs are my children and treated as such same for a lot of people. What would you do pops or dude if you animal just got away from you and ran off BUT they have a chip (my 3 do and its the best 15 dollars i could have spent on them) and somebody finds them who says that if you take them to the shelter that maybe they would run the machine over them and get that info so they could call the owner and you never have to pay the $90??? So your answer is to shot them and take a family member from somebody or some child??? There are many more options then to shot them. And if you dont want to pay it take a little drive to atchison and they dont charge to take stray animals in. And actually... i do almost value my dogs life just as much as mine because they are always true and loyal and appriciate everything you give them... better then most people i know/ or have seen!

I have one question about this new texting law. if u are at a stop light or stop sign can you get your cell phone out to check to see if you have recived any new text or calls? But i do know one thing..the only time i look at my phone when im driving is if nobody is around or im at a light or something like that. but one day they are gonna think im texting and pull me over try to give me a long bla bla bla session and im gonna pull out my id for them and they are gonna be like OHHH shes 22 dang i cant get money out of her HAHA. But just cause i look 16 i will get the time out of my day wasted even if i wasnt "texting" i could be looking down at my dash or something. i see this getting out of control real fast cause that is a very large fine. And to add there are just as many older adults as teens texting now. So if this is what they want to do they need to include everybody!

New state law bans texting for drivers under 21
I have one question about this new texting law. if u are at a stop light or stop sign can you get your cell phone out to check to see if you have recived any new text or calls?
